Woodview Coffee House, a once-monthly performance venue, features the talents of professional musicians with statewide, national and international performance expertise. In addition, live entertainment and stage experience is provided to amateur musicians by way of the "open microphone" portion of every program. Why not plan to join us next time for a unique opportunity to experience a variey of musical entertainment and, maybe, even take a turn at the mic.
Woodview Coffee House also provides music scholarships, coordinates musical instrument donations to area schools, and organizes social action assistance.
Woodview Coffee House is incorporated by the State of Florida as a not-for-profit corporation, seeking to entertain audiences and enhance amateur performers' experience.
Last season (2008-09) we presented nine programs with an average attendance of nearly 70 each evening. At Woodview Coffee House you saw Doug Spears, Bob Patterson, Deux Oh, Clearwater Connection, Matthew Sabatella, 2PM, The Ancient City Slickers, Starbird and Florida SongStory; rounding out the year was Ben Dehart’s sparkling tenor.
